Just my thoughts but I doubt the cars next fifty years be anywhere near as harsh as the last fifty. As with most of these cars now a days I am sure it spends far more time in a comfortable climate controlled garage than on the street and will probably never see the inside of a barn again unless it is a photo shoot. I think you will probably be just fine cleaning the parts and putting them back on as is. Not sure you need to do anything to them other than a damp sponge and a vacum every once in a while.
