So installed subject struts and now my hood will not close completely. Not sure yet if the new struts are the reason, but seems suspicious. Anyone else tried these?

Sigh, i plan to install my old struts to see if my hood will close.
Went back to the old struts and hood closed all the way. Maybe I installed the new ones incorrectly or I was too nervous of letting go as there is no resistance with the rennline strut. Anyway glad my hood is okay.
