The last time I had a pro haircut the lady told me I should go to petco to get clippers. Said they have essentially pro quality clippers for half price.
Ended up buying cheapo chinesium clippers as a test bed to see if I was ok with the homebrew method. Surprising they still work fine 9ish years later.
