Eddie blew up his 50/50 by splitting the case. He replaced it with a 50/01 na box that we regeared and added a spool. That's what was in the car the last couple of years until he totalled it.
The 9" ring gear of the turbo is nice but the cases have always been the weak link. Even today Ekanoo has been splitting the cases on their 997 turbo. And an upgraded sidecover doesn't stop that.
