Brake Hoses

I tried to fill the brake system on my SC today and ran into an issue. I am using the Motive Power Bleeder, plus the family member method.

At first I couldn't work up any pressure with the bleeder in the trial they suggest. So I swapped to the "family member" technique, filling the system and her pumping the brake. This did nothing at first, so I hooked up the power bleeder and this time I did get pressure. All went well - for awhile. Then a serious leak became evident where the RR brake hose joins with the CU line from the body. It didn't leak fluid from there at first, but later began leaking a lot. This is obviously the issue.

I disconnected the hose from the CU line and reconnected it. However it didn't feel "right" as it threaded either direction and I think that the threads on the CU line fitting are boogered up. (Technical term there!) So I may need to replace that line. However an issue with that is getting the body end of it doesn't want to come out of the brass terminal block. I have Kroiled it to sit over night, but does anyone have some better ideas? Difficult place to use heat.
