Hi everyone!
So the vacation came and went and we had a great time!
Loved Route 66 - we explored the section from Santa Fe to LA - definate bucket list experience for me and bonus upon bonus the wife has agreed that we can do the section Chicago to Santa Fe in 2 years time - im already planning stuff.
Las Vegas? - didnt enjoy it much, too hot, too busy, too expensive and amazed that you can still smoke in the Casinos!
Took a trip up Mulholland drive, had good clear weather so the view was great. Even got to see Steve McQueens mailbox. Spotted a few cool cars out for a drive inc an early 911.
Redondo beach was great, cool lady at South Bay Porsche gave me a free (something free! from Porsche!

) license plate surround - great souvenir.
San Clemente was perfect - we needed to relax after 10 days on the road and it certainly did that. Linda beach was cool, Pedros tacos were tasty, met a guy called Bob Lee

(not sure if he is a Pelicaner?) who has a few nice cars. Went to cars and coffee and met a few other cool car guys. Whole area has a great chilled out vibe. Saw the local low rider club cruising up and down San Clemente main street ( The Superiors?)
Loved In`n`Our burgers!
Brought back loads of license plates for my collection
So thanks again everyone and hope to be Stateside again as soon as possible.
