Those are exactly the same symptoms that I am having. It shifts perfectly for about 10 or 15 minutes and then the converter starts to unlock little by little until after maybe an hour or so it will not lock at all. It seems to be more temperature related than electrical and as a matter of fact I thought it might be the filter as well. I've already purchased it but haven't yet installed it. I will do it this week and I'll let you know.
