Bruce - add'l spacer adds 8mm... ~ 1/4". Total of 2 spacers/2 gaskets @ 3/4" total. I'm not discounting your contribution at all. I've thought about that too. As an aside, the Bitz CIS conversion kit takes the CIS super longer injector and replaces it with an EV1 style which is injecting fuel over 2" farther up the intake.
Quicksilver - I thought to minimize (at least a little) the height as in Bruce's concern.
Sherwood - Thanks, I'm thinking permanent bond due to unique application. Once bonded, a little easier to trace that injector notch to the bottom spacer too. If extra room (height) still exists, it might be easier to surface the bottom down and reduce some of the add'l height that Bruce remarked about.
