Alternator stoped charging

Hi
My car, 1977 targa, has stoped charging. I just see 11.4-11.5 volt on the battery.
I don't think it has stop charging totally because I have driven it quite long distances and I don't think the battery would have survived that.
The alternator light in the dash isn't on either.

Is it the regulator or the alternator, what is really the best approach testing this?

Regulator: The stock mechanical black plastic regulator (tries adjusting the screw on the bi-metal, did nothing)
Alternator: Stock from a 72 car (55amp? something) It was overhauled 10 years ago when I built this engine.
