I know how to remove the switch itself but I don't know how to disconnect the electrical wire. I appreciate your reply Wayne but after looking into it a little further I decided that that isn't the problem anyway. If you recall I was having the transmission problem with the torque converter lock up. I don't know for sure but I believe that the converter itself is the problem and must be replaced. Either that or the solenoid is bad but based on the symptoms I think it's the converter. Still researching to find out for sure.
