Never tried it, but perhaps worth a try! However, Jamie makes an important point: with the dog teeth or gear teeth sheared, it is really in your interest to tear *everything* down and be fastidious in cleaning out debris. LSDs in particular have a strange but consistent ability to suck in debris, gouge clutch discs etc. Good luck,
