I wired my mirrors for the aero mirrors that replaced the original flag mirrors so I have a good grasp of the wiring.
1) The Gray/Green comes from the defroster switch to defrost the mirror.
2) The motor is powered by the Blue (1) and Black/Yellow (2). Changing polarities on these two wires moves the mirror one direction or the opposite direction on the selected plane (i.e., horizontal or vertical)
3) The coil connected via the white wire (6) controls whether the mirror operates in the horizontal or vertical direction. It either has 12 v or is grounded (no voltage). The mirror joystick switch provides the voltage (or not) depending on the direction of motion you select. The other side of this coil connects to Brown (5) which is ground.
The dashed lines represents control of the motor movement plane.
For operation, if you apply 12V to #1 and ground to #2 while #6 is grounded, the mirror moves in one direction. Flip the polarity in #1 and #2 and it moves in the opposite direction. When 12V is also applied to #6, the mirror moves in the other plane.
