Just a word from the halls of experience.. if you go plastic, go lexan. Plexiglass is cheaper and you can even buy a sheet at the hardware store, cut you own, and save a bundle. EXCEPT the sheet may shatter or splinter, after installing the plexiglass is subject to scratching. I speak from experience with sliding windows on my Healey. Lexan will cost more but is far cheaper in the long run.. no splits, no shattering, no scratches.
