My thoughts exactly. The previous owner was too lazy to get under the car and replace the fuel filter correctly. I would get that one out of there ASAP. Every connection and clamp is a fuel fire waiting to happen.
It looks like you can get a nice set of braided lines from Golten who is a member here on PP.
