The neighborhood behind my house is a gated community. They put a stockade fence 2ft on their side of the property line. "So they own and take care of it." Had somehone remove my old east side for the fence panels. Brother across the street behind me had them put in a gate with a concrete step on their side. They have replaced all the sections because there were knots that fell out and they were peek holes. There are three houses in that neighborhood that share my stockade. Two of those housed belonged to two stock holders now just one and the other house is vacant. The gate is one the property line of those two houses.

To the North the guy works as a home depot an replaced that run and refused financial help.

To the East the ladies mom died and left her a bunch of money. She relandscaped and paid for the fence and wouldn't accept my $$ help.

The only thing left is the south side. And we have agreed to each go half. Neither of us go into the side yards that fenced is in so neither of us has called anyone yet. The neighbor leaves his gate open just enough to pass thru and he rarely if ever mows his back yard. Kind looks like he stores a bunch of stuff in his side and back yards. Kinda matches his garage that he leaves the door ajar on. When it is open inside his garage is full to the point it looks like a hoarder's garage.
