So I got a SWEET deal on a 1999 Porsche Boxster
minus motor and trans. I was able to buy a 2.7L out of a 2000. Did all of the engine harness changes...have the DME and trans ecu no issues there. Another sweet deal 6 speed tiptronic out of a 2001 S. I have both base axles from 1999 and S axles out of the 2001 S.
The Issue: The flange on 6 speed and the axles that fit have a different outer CV and end much larger that will not fit hub. Yet the base axle fits the wheel hub but not the trans flange from the 6 speed. Sounds confusing..
Any thoughts?
