Motormeister quoted 8 months wait time on my 4-cyl. That's not really a problem for me, I'm not in a big hurry and have other parts of the car that need to be fixed up.
OK, how hard is it to do a rebuild myself? As I said, I'm not in a hurry, I've got a good place to work on it, and don't mind digging into new things. I've studied the books -- they make it look easy, which I'm sure is not the case.
