Adjustment 914 tail shift
Sorry about this post that ha been covered 100 times, but the search is not answering my problem. Is there a lockout mechinisim in the shifter housing so you can’t hit reverse while shifting from 1st to 2nd. Again, this is a 914/6 tail shift car. Also, my shop manual covers only 73 up side shifters. Is there a accurate procedure published that discribes how to adjust? Going from 1st to second you catch reverse unless you head for 4th to hit 2nd. I have spent my life workinG on 911’s which have a clear adjustment procedure.
