Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a series out called Lost Speedways, about tracks that have been abandoned. The first episode was a bit hokey, but the later ones are really cool. It is amazing how deadly some of the tracks, like the one at Hinchcliffe Stadium, in Patterson, NJ, were. And how the early stock car rings had trees instead of guardrails.
