First, what do you have? What do intend to use the car for? Daily driving, sunny weekends, or racing? For most types of driving, urethane suspension bushings, better shocks (Bilstien or Koni), and an upgrade to slotted or drilled rotors with GOOD pads (not your typical parts-store specials), stainless lines, and a thorough flush and refill w/DOT 4 brake fluid will transform any Porsches' handling and braking without seriously degrading the ride comfort (but there are some minor trade-offs, like squeaky bushings). If you install new pads, be SURE to break them in properly, or you'll waste your money and be very unhappy with them. BUT--before you decide to spend a lot of money, take the car to a Porsche specialist in your area and make SURE your stock system is working correctly-stock Porsche brakes are some of the best on the planet, and it may very well be that there's something not right with yours, and fixing it will save you a lot of money, hassle, and time. Converting to a 930 suspension is NOT for the timid or mechanically-challenged---(and it sure as hell ain't cheap!)
