I'm usually satisfied knowing I'm right. Sometimes, I've "overthunk" it and have come to know whatever position or decision is the result of intelligent "research," consideration, and weighing of all the facts available.
If the facts were somehow tainted or incomplete and I find that out later (and I'm not just talking about political stuff), I'm not going to be stubborn... I'll admit I was wrong. Or partly wrong.
And then there's that good ol' excuse/reason "it seemed like a good idea at the time."
I can't quite tell what you're implying with your statement about the Dolly Llama, but I wish you would give us to more. Spell it out, mannnnn.
