KEEP THE CAR!!!
I used my 914 as a daily driver for a couple of years and it is doable (ok, Tucson is a few degrees cooler!)
It will be dang hot between May and September in the PHX area but the rest of the year is beautiful 914 weather.
Do you have another car as well? Thats the $64K question.
My suggestions:
- Park in the shade, cover the car, get tinted windows, get a sunscreen for the windshield, crack the windows slightly when parked, park facing away from the sun, etc...
- Dont wear a 3 piece suit.
- Get yourself a 1 liter sized cup holder and bring a bottle of water with you.
- Run some 20/50
You will have to get emission tested in Maricopa county.
