left hand bends
I run a 1976 912E which is as far as I am aware totally stock. I have recently serviced the car replacing plugs, leads etc.
I have a problem when turning left or cornering in any left handed manner. Under slight or rapid acceleration the car hesitates on and off throughout the bend as if there is a fuel shortage or someone is turning the ignition key on and off, if I take the bend without accelerating, basically coasting around it runs fine. I have checked all electric connections in the engine bay and nothing seems to be amiss and all the HT leads are new and routed correctly. I have also removed the smog pump as they are not necessary here in the UK.
Has anyone experienced this before or may be able to point me in any possible direction other than a left handed bend!?!
The only other areas I have not checked or know anything about is:
Alarm/imboiliser unit - 'The Ungo Box' model TL 3000!?!, looks ancient and I haven't a clue how it works or how to use it, any help or instructions would be useful. I have never seen one on a car here in the UK.
Black box computer thing for the injection system - Haven't a clue
Cheers
