PDV: You might try testing/replacing the temp sender. Unfortunately, what someone told you just might be true. If your ignition system is dead-on, etc., you might be faced with a new AF meter. This thing pretty much has control over mixture at all running conditions. You'll also need to have the CO adjusted on an analyzer - rules of thumb for carb adjustment do little good with this FI setup. If the black plastic cap on the meter looks like it has been removed, then the "wiper arm" has probably been tampered with - re-adjustment is possible but you need to have an analyzer & know to what specs you're adjusting. Are you in CA? Did you have to go to "Smog Only?"
