Back to helping the OP and his problem

1. the FD is chock full of o-rings, photo from attached thread



2. the FD piston must move smoothly and be able to drop under it own weight.

3. the thread I posted is great, but does not mention that you can chuck the nipple end of the FD piston in a drill and spin it like a lathe and clean it up with your abrasive of choice.
How could you offer help when you don’t even know where the injector o-rings are located? Just to let you know the plunger/piston of FD-004 does not have nipple. See picture below:



I think you will be able to help people better if you know what you are doing. Unfortunately CIS is not your strong subject. You still insist that the piston should slide freely with o-rings?

For everyone reading this thread, the piston does not come in contact with any of the o-rings in the fuel distributor as claimed by Eastbay. The picture posted above is the barrel which he got from a post by Grezdlitn in 2017. Poor guy trying hard to impress people with his expertise.

So you still insist that the o-rings come in contact with the piston? Then prove your hypothesis.
