Dog fence suggestions
Hey guys need some ideas for a dog fence . Luke is coming up on 11 months old he's a shepherd/lab mix . We are rural with 2.5 acres and want to enclose some of our backyard so he can get running exercise . I am thinking approx. 400 ' of fence . Not interested in a wood privacy fence I don't want to block the view . Not really interested in an electric fence . So some kind of wood/wire fence ?
My guess is at least 5' high maybe even 6' . Like any project cost is a consideration . I am not really interested in DIY because I have enough on my plate but not ruling it out . I will get at least one quote from a pro . What have you installed that worked well ? Like wise what didn't work . The plan is to let him out , exercise with him then bring him in . But if he enjoys it out there and doesn't try to be Houdini 😁 may leave him out longer .
