Souk’s procedure is good provided you don’t have unmetered air going into the system. I called his attention about it and he could not edit his posts because it had been old and no more access to old posts. Other than that, it is a remarkable technique.

So to set your mixture correctly you need to perform these basic tests first and foremost:
  • Setting your control and system fuel pressures to specification.
  • Verifying the absence of unmetered air going into the system.
