911 Sunroof Cancelled
...and my lifelong hatred for sunroofs, I have decided to move forward with a roof panel swap sunroof delete.
I'm looking for A) increased headroom (I'm tired of my head hitting the ceiling on bumpy roads), B) strategic weight loss (I pulled 22.5 pounds of sunroof components out of the car yesterday) and C) improved aesthetics.
Oscar at Escondido Custom Upholstery and I pulled the rear window, rear side glass and headliner out yesterday in preparation for dropping her off at Perfect Lines in North Hollywood next week.
These pictures illustrate the headroom opportunity cost associated with nasty sunroofses...
~1.6 inches from bottom of sunroof cassette to bottom of outer roof skin (i.e. the ceiling)...
