to me...
a couple is 2
a few is 3, 4 or 5
some can be anything depending on the sample size ("I'd like some of those apples"--if there are only 4 apples, I want 2 or 3 of them, if there are 60 apples, I might want 40...I don't want all of them, and I may not want "most" of them.
So, "Most" is more than 50 percent, but not "all" and probably not "almost all"
in a sample size of 6, Most is 5. in a sample of 10, most can be 7, 8 or 9--although, 9 would be "all but one", or "almost all"
let's go percentage.
it has to be greater than 50%. it should be greater than 60% (or else, that would be, just a little more than half)
but less than 90%
very specifically to ME---most is 65-85% once the same size is large enough (+/- 50 items).
