Wow, don't know how I missed That!! That's pretty good and close enough for me, I was pretty sure it was original. There have only been a few owners, still have original tool kit, Manuel ect. Thanks Mark! Curios what the rest of the numbers mean though

It confirms a 64C is a 1982. Only way to confirm it is matching these days is to order a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. It costs $500 and you need to take the car in for a dealer to inspect.

Some dealers are willing to enter your VIN and show you the engine number in their database, but I'm not sure how far back that goes.
