I just found out today, Megan Jastrab, track cycling, is from Apple Valley ( Jr world champ as well as many national and international titles). Her aunt lives across the street from the wife of childhood friend in West Covina, CA. She knew the aunt well, they are just a couple years apart. I will be watching our local girl like a hawk. Up to this point, I have never heard of her, been out of the who's who in the local and domestic cycling loop. Woo-hoo- go Megan.
