OK, I figured it out. Here are the steps to re-wiring the seat belt warning light on the later cars:
1. Locate the wiring harness on the floor under the passenger seat that terminates in a plastic junction block. It may or may not still be connected to the seat belt logic relay.
2. Identify the smaller 18 ga. yellow wire with a red stripe on it. This is the hot lead coming from the seat belt warning light.
3. Identify the TWO green wires with a white stripe that go to the drivers side seat belt switch. One is paired with a brown/white wire.
4. Disconnect the yellow/red wire and the single green/white wire from the junction block and connect them together.
5. Disconnect the second green white wire that is paired with a brown/white wire from the junction block and connect it to a ground.

That's all there is to it!
