I’ve done a lot of lock work and have never been able to buy the proper wafers from anyone except a Pelican member who also sells on eBay. Nobody will sell you the wafers unless your a locksmith at least that’s my experience.
Anyone with any mechanical ability can do lock work especially on older vehicles and by keeping the average Joe from obtaining certain parts makes your membership to the SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL LOCKSMITHS or ASSOCIATED LOCKSMITHS OF AMERICA seem valid or worthwhile. Hope there’s no locksmiths here!!
If anyone has a reasonably priced source for springs and wafers I would love to know.
