Agreed. I realize all this now after researching late into the night last night

unfortunately in NY, if there is a weapon that is at all in demand for whatever reason, you will not find it anywhere in stores. ive looked all over the state and would be willing to drive 300 miles to a store to pick it up. Nothing.
