Sorry another dumb newbie question, but what does the part in the picture do?
It looks like a metal cup, but it has rubbed the paint away on the back cross member. Maybe you can just make it out from the picture with the red arrow pointing at it.
Also is it normal that the rubber bump stops on the lid rub the paint away when it closes on the back ?
I hope the picture show is.
