Before I have my 5 Fuchs refinished, I'm hoping someone may have some input on why these wheels were painted this color. They are a complete set of 5. Might they be for an unusual Porsche model 911, 912 or 914? They could have been repainted at some point, but if they were, someone really knew what they were doing. The paint job is factory quality, although showing their age.
They are date stamped late 1972 and came on my 73.5. Could they be custom from the factory? If they were, it wasn't for this car per COA even though the date stamped is possible for my car's early production date.
