I cut out (excessive) sugar nearly a year ago because every evening I was gorging on sweets/chocolate biscuits/sweet deserts, then getting a sugar hit, then crashing out. Not healthy. So I went cold turkey on sugar. Stomach has slowly shrunk back, but what I most enjoy is not having that God awful sugar crash feeling. Not that I care but I guess I've lost 13lb. Yup. Makes it tolerable - you aren't on a diet, there isn't anything you can't have some of - you just can't have a lot of some things.
Took me years to put it on a pound or two per month... I don't mind taking it off at the same rate.
