I’m doing one right now this is how I did the entire bottom.
1. Used a pneumatic chisel which peels chip guard like a banana.
2. Finish up with wire knotted wheel.
3. Used 100 grit on an orbital to rough areas missed go over entire thing.
4. Clean with denatured alcohol or some pre paint cleaner
5. A coat of rm epoxy primer 2 is fine if you wish let flash between coats
6. Gravel guard or whatever product you use over epoxy within 24 hours
7. Follow tds sheet for topcoat et.
