Searching Worldpac, I find VEMO brand that appears the same as original '78 911. Also fits a 78 928, which uses a CIS system like the 911, and others. I ordered one and should have it monday. We'll see. VEMO # V10-09-0835. Lots on EBAY if you enter that number.

Installed it today. Came with a 12mm external check valve, so I carefully reamed out the 10mm banjo, holding it lightly with a pair of curved jaw visegrips so it didn't move and a tapered reamer in a slow turning air drill. Reamed until the check valve slipped in, a little on each side, leaving thin flat sides for brass sealing washers. Smoothed the sides with a fine file. No leaks. Been doing this for quite a while so the check valve can. E retained for good hot starts, though got some crap about the edges being too thin to seal. Just don't go overboard on the reaming and all is good.
