My experience with streaming is that it’s a royal pain in the ass. Each streaming service seems to have a half a dozen things worth watching plus hundreds of things that are just garbage. It depends on what you’re interested in.
I watch very little sports, no network TV, no TV news, but watch a lot of movies. Streaming is good for that (and of course also for sports or whatever else one is interested in).
But anyways, if you have Internet there’s really no reason not to stream. There’s many, many completely free streaming channels that have all sorts of movies etc (Pluto, etc). Any smart TV can get them, or it can be done with a $25 streaming stick. No other costs, subscriptions etc.
