One of the ladies that works for us lives in Las Vegas but rents her home here in Patuxent River.

Her "property manager" has gone AWOL and the folks renting her house have legitimate issues with the kitchen appliances - all of them have aged out. The PM is no longer the PM.

I went over yesterday and after looking at the appliances, taking photos, etc. my recommendation is to replace them all, which the owner agreed to do.

So, I am a bit like the dog who caught the car: Now what?

I have lived in the same house for almost 30 years and when we did our kitchen remodel over ten years ago, the contractor, my wife and the kitchen designer did everything.

Any advice? Do Lowes and Home Depot do a good job, etc?
