I have an '84 Carrera and installed a Racing Dynamics Cat bypass pipe with a M&K 1 in / 1 out muffler. Very pleased with the sound.
On my '83 SC, I had B&B tri-flow headers and 2 & 2 exhaust. It sounded amazing above 3000 RPM but, below, the drone was brutal...
