You know, I think it could be an exhaust leak... Hard to say. You can hear a pfft-pfft-pfft-pfft sound from the exhaust when you are driving especially when you warm it up. I have heard that replacing the exhaust manifold is an expensive nightmare including tapping new manifold studs when the old ones break off.

Any easy way to check for a leak like this?
