We moved around a lot and for a few years we lived in a place with a HORRIBLE public school system. My grandparents payed for me to go to a private school from the 5th through the first half of the 8th grade. The education really was top notch. They graded on penmanship, and it was not unusual for my grades to be all As and one C for penmanship. I can spell, but I should have been a Dr. And it's probably much worse these days because 99% of what I do is typed.
