Turns out a ninja star was found at the bottom of inflatable Santa. Fingerprints match those of 8 year old Timmy Sheetdisturber two doors down the street, and he was detained a couple of hours ago. I had a bunch of shuriken when I was a teen, but never one like that. Based on what I remember reading about them when I was a teen, they were actually thin, not thick. But then I've never been or met an actual ninja from feudal Japan, so I have no idea.
