Ugh. Not sure about the new slider for my ‘81 915. I received a box of goodies from Pelican this week and one of those parts is a 1/2 slider. While inspecting, it just looks different. I doesn’t have a fully ground synchro engagement surface. The second gear side of the slider has a “machined” surface. To me, it looks like a grind, or more, was missed on the slider. Does this look right?
