Fan pulley and fan blade ruined
I replaced the fan blade a few years ago and recently the alternator double pulley put 3shims inside and 3 shims outside the washer seated and everything looked good no belt squeaking. I had smog pump belt on seemed to need to be looser rather than tight to be quiet. Torqued pulley nut to specs. Started hearing a rattle in engine bay few months later I thought maybe the Smog belt was loose tightened . Still rattling felt the double pulley and realized it was not snug and removed to find both wiped out my pulley and fan blade mounting seating in the center. Any ideas LMK
