Had to cut down a Foxtail Palm that had contracted a fungus known as
Ganoderma Butt Rot.
I planted it back in '06 and it was doing great until this fungus got into it.
The last photo shows the "Conk" at the base of the trunk. That will also need to be removed. Today was getting most of it at the curb for our yard waste pickup day.
