Forum Rules
Forum Rules
Please read these rules and guidelines to posting here on the Pelican Parts PARF forum:
First of all, no one is "censored" here because we are all guests and we have a host that OWNS PP: They get to decide the direction and content of PP, not me, not any poster here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. No flaming: debates are ok, but responding to threads just to incite or start an argument or conflict is not permitted. Personal attacks, if hostile in nature, are not allowed.
2. No pointless threads or excessive posting allowed: Yes, this is PARF but let's keep the subject matter of an intelligent nature...at least on page one.
3. Absolutely no pornographic, objectionable, or illegal material allowed. No pictures, links to pictures, discussion of porn...etc. is allowed. Objectionable material includes graphic gore, tasteless jokes, and any off-color subject matter. Such posts will be deleted, and such posts are grounds for banning.
4. No discussion of any illegal activity permitted. This not only jeopardizes Pelican Parts, it will ultimately jeopardize you! Linking to any site that deals with illegal activity is not allowed. Posting information on how to defraud a company or misuse a product or any promotion of any illegal activity will not be tolerated. Again, such posts are grounds for banning. Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material.
5. Do not impersonate other people or use fake aliases.
6.Only one User ID allowed per Member: The same IP Address for different User IDs is forbidden. Multiples of either is a banning offense.
7. No profanity allowed. Make every effort to express your views without resorting to trash talk.
8. Respect other's privacy: no posting of pictures, phone numbers, email addresses...etc. of another individual without their permission.
9. Insulting another member or a moderator will not be tolerated anywhere on this website. Threads dealing with topics that degenerate into flame wars may be moved, closed, or deleted by moderators at their discretion without any warning to the participants.
10. Insulting a Moderator in a PM is a ticket out.
11. No references to Nazi's unless it is historically accurate and not attached to current politicians of either stripe. Why anyone had to type the previous sentence is beyond me.
12. Moderators and Administrators have final say in what is or is not appropriate. Discussing moderator actions (deleting/moving/editing threads or posts) is not allowed in the forums.
