I have same question.
My 88 had the throwout bearing upgraded back in '97 when the engine was out for new valve seals (long story).
I've got the engine/transmission separated and when I pulled the clutch cross shaft out the needle bearings in the bushings fell out. I need to replace them or...?
How can I tell if I have the upgraded fork as well?
